The artist Anne Truitt was not only an exceptional maker, she was also a mother. This piece considers the intersection between her personal and professional lives. Through a close reading of the artist's journal Daybook Natasha draws parallels between Truitt's experiences in the mid-twentieth century and her own modern motherhood.
